The family of a woman who vanished in far north Queensland in 2005 could soon find out what might have happened to the mother-of-five.
A coroner is expected to hand down her findings following an inquest last month into the mysterious disappearance of Kathleen O'Shea.
The 44-year-old had been staying in the Atherton Tablelands, inland from Cairns, for the birth of her first grandchild when she vanished on December 29, 2005.
She was reported missing about two weeks after being dropped off on a street in the town where she'd planned to play pool at a local hotel.
Northern Coroner Jane Bentley is expected to hand down her findings in Cairns on Wednesday.
