Knife-wielding man arrested during Brisbane*s Anzac Day parade (ABC)

ABC The man was taken into police custody.

A 46-year-old man will face court on Saturday for wielding a knife at Brisbane's Anzac Day march.

Police say the man was causing a disturbance in the CBD about 10:30am (AEST) Friday and when they tried to approach him produced the weapon.

He was charged with a string of offences including serious assault of police, going armed to cause fear and possession of a dangerous drug.

He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
