An intruder is thought to have broken into the homes of two women and a teenage girl who were woken by a man grabbing or touching them.
One woman reported waking in her bedroom to find a man with his hands around her throat.
Police said no-one was hurt in the break-ins, which happened earlier this month in Eagleby, south of Brisbane.
On April 1 a woman was woken in her bedroom by a man touching her on the back about 11pm.
When she screamed, the man ran from the house.
Days later on April 6 a man entered a woman's bedroom and grabbed her around the throat just before 11pm.
Again, the woman screamed and the man fled.
In a third incident on April 12 a girl was asleep when a man entered her bedroom and touched her arm about 4am.
As the girl woke up, the man ran from the house.
Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to about the break-ins.
The man is described as being as Caucasian, having a slim build, around 170 centimetres tall and with short, light hair.
