Sydney Roosters beat St George Illawarra Dragons 34-14 in Anzac Day NRL clash (ABC)

ABC The Roosters had way too much attacking ability for the Dragons, winning 34-14 at the SFS on Anzac Day.

The Sydney Roosters gained a much-needed NRL victory, beating St George Illawarra 34-14 at the Sydney Football Stadium in the Anzac Day clash on Friday evening.

Tries to Aidan Guerra, Daniel Tupou and Anthony Minichiello put the Roosters 18-8 up at half-time.

Jake Friend, Boyd Cordner and then Shaun Kenny-Dowall continued the carnage in the second stanza to ensure a 20-point winning margin.

Ben Creagh, Nathan Green and Gerard Beale scored the Dragons' three tries of the match.
