A man has died after being struck by two vehicles as he crossed the M1 in Sydney's north.
Police say the man was struck by the cars at Mount Kuring-Gai at around 4.30pm on Saturday.
The man reportedly entered the northbound lanes and was struck by a car before continuing to cross the roadway into the southbound lanes where he was struck by a second vehicle.
He was treated at the scene by a doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Hornsby Hospital where he later died.
Both drivers were spoken to by police and taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
Police are continuing their investigations into how the man came to be on the roadway and will prepare a report for the coroner.
