A Victorian man has been caught driving while three times over the legal blood alcohol limit, and speeding at 150km/h.
Highway patrol officers intercepted the driver on the Mornington Peninsula Freeway, at Mount Martha, about 7.30pm (AEST) on Wednesday.
They say the 30-year-old Baxter man was detected driving at 150km/h before he was pulled over, and then returned a positive breath test.
"He was taken back to Rosebud police station where he returned a reading of 0.154 per cent," according to a Victoria Police statement.
"The vehicle was impounded under the hoon legislation."
The man will be charged on summons with several driving-related offences.
