Northern Territory police have appealed for information regarding the death of a 48-year-old man after a fight in Darwin's CBD.
A crime scene was established in the carpark of the Frog Hollow Centre for the Arts on Sunday morning.
Major crime detectives have been put on the case as the death appears to be suspicious.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Tony Henrys said police responded to a report that a man had collapsed about 6:00pm (ACST) on Saturday.
"It appears the victim was involved in an altercation and assaulted by a group of male and female adults," he said.
Detectives said it was not yet clear whether the man was already dead when a witness called police.
Police have urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
