A man has been charged by police over a fatal collision on Sydney's north shore.
On June 20, a sedan collided with the back of a motorcycle at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Dumaresq Street at Gordon.
The motorcyclist, a 55-year-old man from Newcastle, was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.
Following inquiries by the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit, the driver of the sedan was issued on Sunday with court attendance notices for dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death.
The 54-year-old Mount Colah man will appear in North Sydney Local Court on September 18.
His driver's licence has also been suspended.
