A man is due to appear in court accused of sexually assaulting a woman he met at a party in southern NSW last month.
The 26-year-old woman was at a house party in Ashmont on July 20 when she was approached by a 25-year-old man, police say.
The pair walked outside and the man allegedly sexually assaulted the woman in a nearby yard.
Police have been told the woman was then dragged through nearby streets before being forced into a car where she was sexually assaulted again.
The woman managed to escaped from the car and run to her sister's home.
Police arrested the 25-year-old alleged offender at Kooringal on Tuesday.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Wagga Wagga Local Court on September 17.
