Rebels bikie gang members charged over man*s abduction at Castlereagh in Sydney*s north-west (ABC)

Six members of the Rebels bikie gang, including high-ranking members from the Penrith and Liverpool chapters, have been charged with abducting a man in Sydney's north-west.

The group of men are accused of kidnapping a 45-year-old outside a property in Castlereagh in May, police said.

Police allege the man was then taken inside, tied up and repeatedly assaulted.

He regained consciousness two days later and called a friend who took him to hospital for treatment for injuries to his head, body, arms and legs.

Police said four cars, a speed boat, three quad bikes and other property were stolen during the assault.

The quad bikes and two of the cars have since been recovered by police.

The six men were charged with special aggravated kidnapping and participating in a criminal group, before being refused police bail.

The men will appear in court next month.
