The Wallabies' fought out a 12-12 Bledisloe Cup draw with the All Blacks in their Rugby Championship opener at Sydney's Olympic stadium on Saturday night.
Kurtley Beale and Aaron Cruden both scored all their team's points with the boot in a tense, tight game.
The All Blacks were twice reduced to 14 men after Wyatt Crockett (38th minute) and Beauden Barrett (69th minute) were sent to the sin-bin, but the hosts could not make their numerical advantage count on either occassion.
The Springboks open their Rugby Championship campaign against Argentina early on Sunday morning (AEST).
